I'm an integrative counsellor, and member of the BACP, offering face to face counselling sessions in Bourne and online.
What does integrative actually mean?
It means I draw on training in a range of therapeutic and creative approaches, bringing together what feels most helpful for you and tailoring it to what you need. My style however is grounded in the Person‑Centred approach, which means I believe every individual has the capacity to grow and move forward when the right conditions are in place. Qualities such as acceptance, warmth, and non‑judgement sit at the heart of my counselling approach, creating a space where you can feel safe, understood, and supported.
What does this really mean for your sessions?
You get to decide where we go in your sessions. I won’t tell you what to do or try to “fix” anything — because you’re not broken! I’ll listen gently and respond to what feels important for you to share. I offer a neuro‑affirming, trauma‑informed and fully inclusive space, grounded in kindness and curiosity. My aim is to help you gently make sense of your thoughts and feelings, deepening your understanding of yourself and whatever you’re navigating.
I work with adults who are finding life heavy, confusing, or overwhelming, and who want a safe, steady space to explore what’s going on inside. My approach is warm, calm and collaborative — you don’t have to arrive with the “right words” or a clear story. We work it out together.
Adults navigating anxiety, stress or burnout
When your mind feels busy, tense or stuck in worry, counselling can help you slow things down and find steadier ground.
People carrying trauma or difficult past experiences
You might feel on edge, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward. Together we can gently explore what feels too much to hold alone.
Neurodivergent adults (including ADHD/AUTISM profiles)
Whether you’re diagnosed, exploring, or simply feeling “different”, I offer a space where your way of being is understood and respected.
Parents of neurodivergent or SEND children
If you’re supporting a child with additional needs, you may feel stretched thin, worried, or unheard. Counselling can give you space to breathe, reflect, and feel supported.
People experiencing low mood, self‑doubt or feeling lost
When life feels flat or directionless, therapy can help you reconnect with yourself and what matters to you.
Anyone wanting to understand themselves better
You don’t need to be in crisis to come to counselling. Many people simply want a space to explore patterns, relationships, or parts of themselves they’re curious about.
